Built for outages. Built for high rates. Built to pass inspection clean.
Solar and battery services built around your property.
In Southern California, SCE’s pricing can feel like a penalty for living indoors. In Louisiana, hurricanes make resilience real.
ABC Solar builds solar + battery systems that behave correctly when things get ugly: heatwaves, blackouts, TOU peaks, and long interconnection timelines.
ABC Solar does not offer financing or leases.
If you need to borrow, we suggest discussing a home equity line of credit (HELOC) with your bank or credit union. You arrange any borrowing directly with your lender.
We design and install solar + storage with a code-first, reality-first approach: correct clearances, correct labeling,
correct load planning, correct expectations. We use licensed C-10 electricians for panel upgrades and advanced battery systems where required,
and we use licensed roofers for roof scopes. We coordinate the project so the homeowner doesn’t have to manage multiple trades.

Why solar + batteries changed (and why ABC Solar builds differently)
The “solar only” era is fading. Modern rates and rules push value into self-consumption and time shifting.
If you’re on a high TOU utility, the goal is not “produce a lot” — it’s use your own energy at the expensive hours,
and keep the lights on when the grid fails.
TOU peaks
Batteries let your solar work when rates are highest.
Outages
Resilience is a feature — refrigeration, internet, comfort.
Inspections
Code-first design avoids rework and schedule stalls.
Long-term
Systems should be serviceable, documented, and durable.
Paying for your solar and battery system
ABC Solar does not offer financing or leases. Our role is to design and install the system you purchase. Start with a proposal that explains the equipment, installation scope and project price.
Purchase with your own fundsPaying without borrowing avoids loan interest and lender fees. Consider the project cost alongside the reserves you want to keep for other needs.
Our borrowing suggestion: a HELOCFor homeowners who need to borrow, we suggest discussing a home equity line of credit with their bank or credit union. Compare the borrowing terms separately from the installation price.
Your lender, your decisionYour lender handles applications, approval and repayment terms. Ask about rates, fees, fixed-rate options and payments after the draw period ends.
A HELOC is secured by your home, which you could lose if you cannot repay. Rates are usually variable and payments can rise. The safest choice depends on your finances and the loan terms. Read the CFPB’s HELOC guide.
Answer three questions and we’ll route you to the best next page: savings, backup, off-grid, or paying for your system.

and how to choose a system that won’t disappoint you.

California + Louisiana presence
We operate in Southern California and Louisiana. We manage permits, inspections, and interconnection — and we bring licensed trades for specialty scopes.
Southern California (high TOU reality)
Designed around SCE-style pricing, difficult roofs, strict neighborhoods, and inspection-heavy jurisdictions.
We’ve navigated demanding cities and design review environments for years.
In hurricane country, power isn’t a “nice-to-have.” Solar + batteries keep refrigeration alive, keep communications running,
and reduce the generator spiral. We build for real outages and real recovery timelines.
If you want us to move fast, send a recent electric bill + a roof photo set (or schedule a visit). We’ll propose a system that matches your goals,
your utility reality, your roof constraints, and your budget constraints — without pretending the world is simpler than it is.

Proof (not promises)
We build systems that pass inspection clean, behave correctly in outages, and are documented so they can be serviced.
