    This system was designed with 20 Schuco Solar S 180-SPU-4 180 watt solar panels with 10 panels per string connecting to a Sunnyboy 3000 watt DC/AC Inverter.

    This installation uses the West roof surface with equal strings of 10.

    Permitting Issues: None, The City of El Segundo was... overcharged for the permit, then refunded half. Nice little city though.

    Time of Use Metering? Yes.

    Time of Use Metering means that between 12 noon and 6 PM your electricity rate goes up dramatically. For solar producers this means every time you spin the meter backwards you are getting a credit at the much higher Time-of-Use (TOU) rate.
